Question for those with BOVs
I'm considering picking a Autowerked BOV kit for a great deal from a fellow member, but had some questions. First off, do you like it? I've read elsewhere that they do nothing for you but the sound. I personally enjoy the sound, since I have two friends with STIs and they have BOVs that sound incredible. My next question is; are they hard to install? I guess what I'm looking for is your overall experience with them. Any info at all will help me with my decision!
Thanks This is a repost - I guess it is better suited here! |

They are expensive, worthless noise makers adored by ricers everywhere. On cars like the STi, they actually rob power.

AA is the best BOV I have ever owned... the sound on the 335 is excellent. If installed correctly it will not rob you of any power. If you are getting a deal than def. go for it.

Ignore the rice remark.
I just put back on my stock air box on the evo. I use to have an hkr rs intake that the bov vented through. Now my car is quite, and yea I miss that sound. I say go for it if you get it for a good price. I too might be looking for one someday. |

I honestly LOVE the sound it makes. I honestly would consider it had it been cheaper and not as loud.. i can only hear my turbo whine on Cold start ups.
