I take it this means you can play DVDs whilst the car is moving? So it takes a feed from switched live rather than handbrake sensor or etc?

Any coding required?

Yes thats right, no coding just plug and play, the little box of tricks does all the work.

It takes about half an hour to install, less if your familiar with removing the idrive unit which I'm sure you are

bad times. This makes me want to buy a double din aftermarket unit lolll since CCC idrives don't feature a DVD playback option! How rude of BMW!

does it enables navigation and voice aswell? im retrofiting CIC and ive been told some of the video emulators works that way aswell. thanks
