Pre-Delivery Insoection

Hi All,

Hoping to have a delivery date for my recently ordered E90 soon, and wondered if anyone has any advice regarding how to avoid the dealer installing free-of-charge swirl marks as part of the PDI!!

My current BMW (E60) is Jet Black and had some fairly major swirling before I even drove it off the forecourt  Any advice you can give would be gratefully received

Ask then not to "valet" it.. and get your own guy to do it... detailingworld.co.uk has some good tips.

Garage List
I couldn't bring myself not to have them valet it as I didn't fancy picking up a dirty car. They didn't do an awful job, just not a particularly good one. You can always get swirls sorted later, you'll probably introduce a few yourself over time - I'd be tempted to get some use out of it and then get it detailed/do it yourself later. That's what I'm doing.

Cheers

I think I'll go with your suggestion Silverbmwz3. You're right - it would spoil the delivery moment if the car was covered in transit wax!!

Think it's a good 8 weeks away though as I still don't have a delivery date.
