Having bought one yesterday, can I just say firstly this is a brilliant upgrade and secondly, that's a brilliant price at brand new. Still don't know why BMW charge c. £160 for the two items... !!

Just seen the picture you posted of your car.... Wrapped headunit and climate controls??....and surround for cup holders, and gear selector surround....

Gonna give wrapping my gear selector a go when I get a chance :-)

Yeah it all started after I went a little crazy and ordered an Autocarbon steering wheel from USA :s

The material is Gloss Black DiNOC I got from eBay

The cupholder trim and aircon are easy, the gear shiftplate isn't too hard, but the pro radio unit was tough. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to something i'll be looking at everyday. Actually scanned the front and made a kinda stencil, but ended up just sticking it on the front and just seeing where I needed to cut.

Prob looks too much for some people, but suits the wheel well.

That steering wheel looks beastly!! Never seen one like that before!!! The US have sooo many bits available for our cars!! Kinda wished I lived there!
