Has it not affected the drive quality by mixing RFT's with standard tyres?

It has - in a better way!! The driving is far better than before, rear feels so soft now!! I want to change the fronts too but makes little financial sense since I'm having to buy brand new tyres all round for my summer wheels.

I'm in agreement that standard tyres all round gives a better ride but from what I understood mixing the two causes the ride to be worse than with RFT's alone?

Many people mix RFTs with Standard tyres and love the drive in comparison to all RFTs..but one thing must be made absolutely clear... Mixing RFT and Std on the same axle is a big No No! If you mix the two on the same axle you're asking for trouble and discomfort.

Having 1 tyre type per axle and another tyre type for the other axle cause no issues whatsoever and actually improves ride quality over RFTs all round.

Logic says, you've dumped one set of RFTs and replaced with Standard rubber, so why would ride Quality be worse? As stated in the ad, this is temporary measure for me. If I were to keep the wheels long terms, I'd replace the front tyres to standard too, however, it makes no financial sense for me right now and secondly its just not needed

Thanks dude!!

It's getting close to the time my summer rims are being thrown on so these will be ready in about 4 weeks!!

As an alternative, I'll be interested in 189s + cash my way if anyone is willing to swop!

Garage List
Are these the same ones on ebay?
ebay listing says
These wheels are commonly cracked or have been repaired, these are genuine and undamaged, but mentions nothing about a repair.

If not then someone has used your pics.

Glad you found them as it looked a bit crappy someone using your pics on their ad as loads look on forums and eBay.
