Its a way of saying that you have provided us with little information. Or just being sarcastic, if you read some stickies and research some other threads, you will find that MANY of our cars have this rattle and you might just have to live with it if you are out of warrantee. Most likely wastegate rattle. Unless the dealer will do it for free, or you are experiencing no boost, I wouldnt worry about it. Its an annoying noise but its your call what to do about it

The answer to your question depends on how much you want to spend....

Leaving it alone would be free.

Buying second hand used OEM turbo's are cheaper option then getting upgraded ones.

You also need to factor in the labor if your not doing the work yourself.

This car commonly has "wastegate rattle" which means the internal wastgates start flapping in the breeze so to speak.

Your performance does not diminish but it is annoying.

The dealer SOMETIMES fixes this under warranty, if you are still under warranty take it in.

IF not you need to decide how much you want to spend.

IF it was my car and my turbo's were on the way out I would like into a finding a second hand OEM turbo's and getting them sent out and upgraded. That is the budget friendly option while increasing performance.

Waste gate rattle. Your turbos arent bad because of the wastegate making noises. You'll probably be good for a few more years until they truly need replacing otherwise that is nothing to worry about. About 70-80% of the people on this forum have it and just live with it.

Everything else was answered throughly above

I can't show you where it says that, but I can show you multiple posts by people who have had their turbos replaced free because of rattling wastegates.

As I said read the thread.

I have also read many threads stating they had turbos replaced because of wastegate rattle, I have also read threads where they only adjusted them, and others said dealer wouldn't do anything. You may as well go in and hope for the best and prepare for worst.

Waste Gate Flutter is what I call it. I have had it on 2 of my previous Turbo vehicles and it was no issue, the Turbo's lasted until i sold them. There is no need to stress over it.
