So its working but just certain keys not?? Should be able to take the keyboard off and replace it possibly, or at least see if it is damaged.

I would've ceased using it for about 12-24 hours to let it dry out.
See if you can't take the keyboard off easily (don't do any more damage!)
What make/model is it?
Trip to PC world repair bit to ask them? Laptops expensive to fix, I'd always take out insurance on a personal one unless you take extra extra extra care. I know that doesn't help retrospectively but for future reference.

Sorry, you could leave it sometime to dry out.

Replacement keyboards are not expensive and worst case, you could always use an external usb one if you don't want to replace it internally? No exactly portable though.....

I am being serious... but it really depends what was in the tea!!! If it had a lot of sugar, that could be worse. I would take as much as possible apart and get a hair-dryer on it.

carlos, if it was Darjeling tea your fucked (at last your lapop is), if it was Earl Grey they may be some hope.... I hope to god your weren't drinking Typhoo or PG Tips that will get into the Flux capacitor of the onboard RAM chipset and cause extensive damage to the daddyboard. If it was a supermarket own brand I would just chuck it in the bin.

Hope this helps. If it is any consolation I never noticed any difference in the quality of your typing and grammar - you always were prone to shortening words and using street language.

I hope this helps

It was not the jug of Pimms that was the problem - it was the additional 8 pints of wifebeater and 2 bottles of wine that dished out the appropriate punishment.

And them 300 runs put on by the Indians ......

Fairly sour.

I needed a few more hours of intensive liquid 'attitude adjustment' before I ceased to care ...

Peter, I really hope it wasn't Lapsang souchong - my colleague at work used to drink that stuff. All I can say is it smells like smoke!

Gordon.

Always worse if you have sugar in it. Fortnately I've only ever done that to a desktop keyboard.
