Recommend a GREAT body shop in Silver Spring or near...

Hey guys, I'm looking for the best body shop in the Silver Spring area... I'm planning on upgrading to a M-Sport aero package from Jason at Tischer and I live in Baltimore and have no way to get the parts up to Baltimore so I thought that maybe I would get the parts installed at a body shop close to Tischer.

Does anyone have any shop that they could recommend from personal experience or know of in that area? I'm really anal about paint work and want the best possible. I'm hoping that someone on the board might be able to point me in the right direction and recommend a great place!

Thanks,
Joe

Go see Derrek and Tom at Euro Pros in Gaithersburg - they are the best body/paint in the Washington Metro area. Not in Silver Spring but not that far either. Pick'm up at Tischer and drop'm off w/your car at Euro Pros. They ain't cheap, but ya get what ya pay for.

Euro pros came highly recommended to me a year ago when I was hit while parked. I can't I was too impressed with the work overall. While the paint finish was excellent, the panel blending and color match was not great and I also had panel alignment issues. Finally, a headlight they replaced with an oem part is leaking water and fried the electronics. Will be taking the car back to them shortly.

My situation is almost identical, living south of Baltimore but wanting to get bumper parts from Tischer. I asked Evan at getbmwparts.com (Tischer) and he gave me the name of a place in Reisterstown. I'll need to go look it up and edit this post.

OK, I was looking for the M Sport Bumper, not the Aero one, but this is what Evan said:

"Yup, that’s the kit you need! It includes everything for the swap, so you’d just need to call around to some shops for pricing on paint/installation. I recommend Auto Collision Specialists – but they are in ReisterStown, MD. (410.833.5697 – ask for Greg or Dave, and tell them Evan from Tischer BMW sent you).

You’re welcome to order online and pickup once ready – just select the local pickup option at checkout! (this will save you the freight shipping charge)"

I had heard of a place in reisterstown that primarily did only BMW work and knew BMW's really well and did great work... Unfortunately, I couldn't remember where or a name so maybe this is the place! Thanks for the number and I'll have to give them a call tomorrow and hopefully get a quote over the phone and if its not astrinamical I'll go by and check out there work to see if its up to par.
