What average MPG are you guys getting?

On a 30mile run including 10 of it at 30mph, I'm averaging 47.8 in a 320D. I've still only done 750 miles so not completely bedded in yet.

I've got 172 miles on my odometer so far, and the fuel level is just a little above half of a tank. I might be able to get around 400 miles to a full tank of gas! My car is a 325i.

I've got about 1,000 miles on my 330i (6 speed - sport), and have been getting just around 18 in town. However, the one road trip averaged 27.5, and this included some VERY spirited driving along a great (and scenic) driving road - Hwy. 7 through the Ozarks here in Arkansas. That trip was about half 2-lane, half boring Freeway. I can see it easily getting over 30 on a deadpan freeway trip.

Looks like I'll save enough in gas to pay for my Calif. license fees. I was getting 16 mpg average in the 5er. Hoping to average 22-24.
