My F31

So i finally got my F31 on Saturday afternoon, and i love it .

This car really is close to the perfect wagon, and i think will be a big seller when more get here in showrooms. It is so much more impressive then my2010 a4 avant. No issues so far, seats have no rust, steering is good, no wind noise (jan2013 build). Seats a tad baggy, but probably in spec for now.

I'm happy enough with the 320i engine, its such a step up from the e90, and doing around 25k a year i think is a good fit. Sure i would have loved the 328i, but i couldnt have everything.

I was on my way back from a job, when i looked down at my car and thought yep she is a beauty, so i had to take a few snaps straight away, more to come later after i get the tint and opticoat.

The only downside of the whole dealer process was, when they received my car they ordered another one in the same spec because it looked so good. So it was unique for about 20 minutes )

Also, stoked i made the last minute decision to go with the xenons and pano roof, would have kicked myself if i didnt, all due to this forum.

Quick one, has anyone been able to get there emails to work in the office function, my sms works but not emails.

Anyway hope you guys like my new car.

Gorgeous, love the wagon. Wouldn't mind one of these myself actually. Wise decision on the xenons.

I haven't got emails working, but I haven't been paying much attention to idrive comms software updates recently.

Haven't seen email working yet. I'm not 100% certain, but I think my dealer said email functionality only worked with Blackberry's. Might have a new WinMo handset soon from the office so I can try that out and see how it goes.

SMS works fine with my GS3.

i'm using iphone 5, there is a a thread somewhere on the forum about how to setup your phone for it. It may be that you also need ext bluetooth and usb, but not sure.
Have also now read emails are not working w/iphone 5 yet

I've tried g3 and iPhone with no luck, maybe you have extended Bluetooth as an option?

The two rails going from front to back on the roof seem like the ones on an X5 to allow roof racks, was that an option?

The wagon is gorgeous you made a good choice. I still find the boot space small in my sedan (coming from an X5). I will have to go wagon on the next upgrade in a few years. The tailgate is fully auto open and close?

Did you also get adaptive suspension? Wondering the comfort feel of the wagon with it on our pot hole roads (after all this rain).

Im pretty sure the rails are standard, but come black with m sport. Roof racks just screw into them. I have seen a few in Europe that have no rails and the car looks great.

Yep tailgate is full auto open close, and the rear window pops open as well.
The boot has some great storage features as well, which are new in f31, really cool.
Ive only got m sport suspension and dont find it to firm, not nearly as firm as e9x series.

Had my tints done today, Suntek CXP 35 its a real good match
