CPO question
If you buy a BMW that has a CPO warranty, does the warranty only stay if its the owner that bought the car CPO or does it go with the car when sold to someone else?

It will stay on the car with the new owner. Bought mine in March of last year from a private seller and the CPO stayed with the car. Not sure if it works the same when you buy it from a third-party dealer though.

Just know that if they certified the car once and someone bought it they got a 360 degree inspection done.
If you're a third person buying this car, they will still sell it under Certified Series title but the car itslef will not be re-certified. Something they wont tell you unless you break their balls about inspecting the car. To your original question, CPO warranty stays with the car. |
