Anyone around Ann Arbor, MI area?

Anyone have a Cobb AP in the area that would be willing to push the BMS flash for me? Don't really feel like spending $900 just to push a flash. Willing to offer some thank you assistance though.

You clearly have not read about COBB much. Each AP is married to a VIN, you cant just get the flash from someone.

Thanks for the useless reply, but I already knew SOME AP's are "married". But, clearly you don't know all as there are both "married" and "unmarried" versions. For a perfect example, the one that BMS sells specifically for this purpose is an "unmarried" unit and they directly state " The unit is not VIN locked and can be transferred to other vehicles at any time or resold when your lease is up."

I think you got it all wrong buddy.

that statement you quoted means that once you uninstall your AP as in unmarry it, you can sell it to someone else and they can use it on their car. That would mean that your car is back to stock software.

You can't flash your car and sell the AP because it will be VIN locked to your car at that point (till you uninstall/unmarry)

get it used for ~600-650$ on the forums. If you think it's too much money, you can always use it by itself and go for a protune. totally worth it...

Ok, thanks Marv. That makes sense I guess. A friend of mine that had an AP on his WRX explained it differently. Thanks for not being an a** about it.
