What's a good software for making cards and poster?

Hey guys! Just want to know what software you guys recommend for making postcards, greeting cards, posters etc...

Not looking to spend a lot. If you know of some freeware, that would be best.

Thanks for your help.

posters - MS Powerpoint does a good job, not nearly as expensive as Adobe products, though much less 'powerful'.

What kind of poster? A collage or advert? If it's a single image you don't need software, just bring the digital image to a photo shop or order online from Snapfish.

Go to MS Windows Shopper page and search for card maker software. I don't know what my wife uses, but hers was ~$20 from a store (Best Buy maybe?).

You may be able to get Powerpoint free through school or work, a lot of teachers use it and the school (or your employer) may have an institutional license.

Thanks! I was thinking of making a collage.

:cough: guess you think stealing is OK :cough:

MS Powerpoint will work for a collage, though you'll need some other software to manipulate the images before you compose the collage/poster in Powerpoint. But only if you want to include pictures with irregular borders - if you want the collage to include only rectangular images, you can just use Powerpoint.
