Prescribed tire pressure

Guys what are the prescribed tire pressure for the front and rear tires for the 2013 M5? I can't find anything in the manual that actually tells in PSI what the recommended tire pressure should be for the front and rear tiers. The manual only tells about loss in tire pressure which will be indicated in the monitor.

Look inside the driver's door on the sill. There's a psi chart. I'd do it for you but my car is at the train station in another state!

I did look but just wanted to confirm what would be written in the manual whether or not it conforms with the tag. On the tag it states 32 PSI for all 4 tires both front and rear. I thought normal car settings would have the front tires' psi different from the rear. TPMS shows I currently have the front tires at 32.3/31.5 and rear tires as 29.5/29.6.

nybimmerfan - I'm pretty sure there is information in the paper manual. I remember specific language about if going over 100MPH for extended periods that you need to have the tire pressure at a larger value (40 PSI???) vs the lower. If you still can't find, I'll pull my manual out at the house tonight (didn't drive the car today).

Check page 168 of the owner's manual. It has recommended front and rear pressure for both under and over 100 mph.

did not go with the manual figures. My jamb says 35 psi all around. But still, after having driven for about 2000km, I noticed the tire wear on the middle wears faster than on either side, I am now lowering it to 33 psi all around, hoping to have them wear evenly.

Thanks AGS. For some reason, on my BMW M5 SEDAN owner's manual that info is on page 166 not 168. I will set the tire pressure accordingly. Thanks all for your help.

No problem.

It's pasted from the online version I downloaded from the BMW website. There must be some slight revisions to the printed version included with the car.

Run 41PSI/280KPa. Who doesn't go over 100MPH/160KMH in this car relatively often?!?!

In AZ, on our warmer and fast roads, my dealer always fills the 20" up to 37.5 PSI this past "winter".

I use 36/37psi but the rear R888 tires did wear out more on the inside/middle vs both outside edges so maybe 34 rears is best I drive 140mph+ daily

High 40+ psi is risky in wet conditions for traction
