TONS of CCA members on here. You honestly can't go wrong given the cost. Several membership benefits by themselves would justify the membership cost. The quality of Roundel magazine is one. The $500-1000 rebate on a future BMW purchase as long as you've been a member in good standing for a year with no lapses is another; that pays the membership fee many times over even though you'd have to technically pay 2 years' worth of dues to have been a member for a full year at the time of purchase. And then many dealerships give 10-20% off parts and labor to CCA members.
And all that doesn't even take into account your local CCA chapter and its events. That varies greatly based on region, but for me the CCA chapter has become one of my most appreciated (and least expected) benefits of BMW ownership. There's a great community here and we get together for lots of varied, fun events and geek out about cars together. Just sign up, you can't possibly regret it.

I know BMW NA (Northern Alberta) members get 10% off at the dealers around here. I believe that is pretty common.
They also offer a high performance driving school.. |

I've been a member for almost 2 years now. Pretty good perks and discounts. The local chapters are fun if you can make the meets.
They also have a yearly raffle that's got 5000:1 odds to win a car. Last years grand prize was a brand new M5. Best odds you can get for a prize like that imo.

Mag is great discounts help a lot 10-15% off and I have twice received rebates from BMW NA thanks to the BMWCCA. If you are a member for a year and buy a CPO or new BMW you qualify for the rebate.
I have been a member for a long time and the mag is a lot like the forum they don't soft soap the manufacturer like they did when I was a member of PCA (Porsche). I don't see a downside to being a member... |

I have only been a member for a few months, but I already saved $130 on my M6 clutch replacement (10% on labor). The magazine is very nice, and I have also begun to go to a few local meets.

+1 membership is such a great value for all the discounts, club events and of course Roundel. I hear PA also has a custom plate. It's a bummer NJ doesn't . Our club will be at NJ Moror Sports park in two weeks for an HPDE school. I can't wait!

Here in south Florida, the club isn't all that great. Mainly because there's another bmw club around that's more active, but not part of the CCA. The magazine is good, I haven't used a car purchase rebate yet either. The local dealerships don't give discounts to members either.

I'd pay the membership fee for the Roundel mag alone.
Then there's the parts discounts, local chapter meetings, autocross, driving schools, teen driving schools Annual Oktoberfest! I went to Oktoberfest last year at Mid Ohio, and am going this year in Monterey CA. I'll be driving Laguna Seca! And when not driving you can browse all the members sweet rides from vintage classics, to joy riding with the Performance School instructors in new M5s etc. As mentioned, a Grand Prize of an M5, but more then one car is awarded. It depends how many tickets are sold. I think there were 3 or 4 cars last year. http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...-mid-ohio.html http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...m-roundel.html

As everyone here has already said. Definitely perks to being a member. Mag alone is a great piece of it. Discounts are sweet. Browse their website because all the perks are there. The only thing they don't have listed are the disadvantages of being a CCA member which I will tell you right now...There are none.

I've been a member for over 10 years. As others have pointed out, Roundel mag is worth the yearly dues alone.
There are many benefits, HPDEs, discounts on parts, rebates on cars. Plus you meet great people who are in to Bimmers. It's so worth it. |

I don't usually hear people mentioning car clubs other than BMWcca. Are many of you associated with car clubs in your local area?
Chime in of you are part of a local car club. |

Benefits? I won a 325iS in the BMWCCA Oktoberfest raffle on a $25 ticket. We have received two loyalty rewards for $500 when we bought the 328xi and the 128i. Discounts on parts, technical support, the Roundel magazine. I would say that it is worthwhile.
