We finally have true confirmation that the 335i (I guess with PPK/M Performance parts) is targeted at the S4.

So as many of us have been arguing on these boards, the M3 is truly competitive to the RS4 which no longer is sold here currently.

Please discuss and mud sling...

Anybody that was claiming that M3 was competing against S4 was lost in space. It's not even logical.

Yeah like Marseille said I don't even know what there is to discuss, this is a rather obvious conclusion. It sorts of competes with the S4, it already did before, but now it's closer in terms of HP. I think it's fair to say that most people cross-shop the 335 and the S4. I know that's what I did. 335 won because of better price and the S4 is a rather old design at this point, that is due to be renewed soon. Also more room in the 335 which I liked, and better mpg.

I agree...you should've seen the threads in the general section though, people def price compare shop and 335i comes out cheaper...but from a performance stand point, it was and is always an argument...i'm just glad we have something to compete.
