New Ride- e92 Sapphire Metallic

Hey Guys,

I recently picked an e92 a little over a month ago. I absolutely love this car! I consider myself lucky to have found this car. I really didn't care for having the factory navigation system, or the other bells and whistles BMW's are known for, but I was very adamant that my next car would be a manual along with having AWD. Coincidentally, as I was about to finalize my decision on this other older 2008 e92 coupe with steptronic (btw, was surprised how well the steptronic performed), another black e92 pulled into the lot literally at the same time as I was I was about to say "yes" on the one I was test driving at the time. I asked about the car, and found out that it came with AWD along with a manual transmission. The bonus was the fact that it was painted in the beautiful sapphire metallic color I never had seen, as well as the M-Sport goodies, like the steering wheel, seats, etc. However, it was not for sale at the time (one of the BMW tech's owned it and was still looking for another car to switch to).

Well, I feel as if Im already going on a rant, so long story short, I managed to obtain this vehicle! I really love this car. It supposedly has an IS exhaust system(can't tell, but its loud!), its definitely on a different suspension because its much lower than any xDrive equipped e92 ive seen, and has the shadowline accessories. It also has very low miles, and was well taken care of. Enjoy the pictures! First time photoshoot lol

As project 335 would say "looks good, some new wheels and a drop would look nice" LOL

Thanks guys! Really appreciate the comments!

As for dropping the car lower, Im not sure if I can lol. Kansas tends to have some pretty bad roads, and I don't think this car is on a stock suspension. I will admit maybe the front could use a drop, but the back end is pretty low...The tires are almost tucked in. I dont think thats a normal stance on xi e92's. I havent seen one that low at the dealership I went to.

I really want to add some stuff to the exterior though. What do you guys recommend for lip kits? I want a clean front lip, maybe change the rear diffuser to accommodate dual tips, along with a CF side skirts and deck lid.

Thanks guys!

I agree, BSM is a very nice color. It seems so rich in metallics. Im glad its a not a true black, though. This color doesnt seem to be as hard to maintain as the black color was in my last car.
