I was thinking about buying this for my 335 to wirelessly charge my Galaxy S3.

It will fit in my center console and it plugs into the USB port there.

Does anyone know what the voltage is on that USB port? I am hoping 5 V but the manual says not to charge any devices using the USB port.

Also I have noticed the USB cable does not charge my phone very well especially if I am using bluetooth at the same time so I am worried it is a low power connection primarily used for data.

The other option is to get a cigarette adaptor to USB then run a cable to the center console but I think that will look too sloppy.

Any suggestions? I appreciate your help.
