[KT_F31_EBII]

Just curious what is the emptied panel used just below the speedometer on the dash.

I know fuel info is displayed under the RPM meter (I am waiting for my F31 to be delivered late Aug), my dealer didn't give me any info...

nothing.. just blank n empty... sad i know.... i wish it gave some type of information there.

i noticed when i was researching on the forum and test drive early in April. wish it could have something in that blank area. but i bought the car now, so will need to stick w it.

Your allow to cancel your order and get your deposit back. I did it. I had an order from another dealer and I found a car else where that dealer said I'm allow to cancel and the other dealer has to allow it or else I call BMW NA and complain about it.

I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering....

I have a 6WA full black panel display (or thats what it says on the order), and the left hand display is always blank - I thought it was supposed to show fuel information.

So to be clear, my 6WA display (if that what it has) has the four dials, and at the bottom of the left (rev) and right (speed) main dials, I have the cut-out sections. The right one shows various graphs depending on the mode of my car (eco etc) but the left one is always blank.

IS this correct? Do I need to change a setting, toggle something?

Peh - just got home and checked my car and got the revs and speedometer the wrong way around - and its like the original poster says, its an empty black panel under the speed dial.

Where is my petrol info as per these sort of pictures...



Full black panel my arse - should be called "almost but not quite" full black panel display :-(

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question, but the dial on lower left (with the pump symbol) shows you have just under 3/4 tank of petrol, and the bottom of your speedometer says you have a range of 559km.

I guess you are looking for average/instantaneous mpg (or kilometers per liter)?

That dash is a F10 the F30 does not have full digital dash. Even the 6WA option is a bad attempt.

Asking my contacts which are already working on the face lift, a full digital dash is NOT in the face lift either.....

I don't think the F30 is ever going to get a full digital dash. Pity as even Volvo's have them now .....

And for those interested in what the missing panel is - see this image and the panel under the speed dial - its just black.... nothing is ever shown there. Compare that to the image above where information is shown.

I would have loved to see something there other than just a hole - maybe power, or range or anything except a black hole....
