N55 Stage 1 too early?

Have 300 miles on my 335 now. Can I install the JB tune or do I need to get more break in?

Don't plan on racing or really jumping on it. Just a few spirited pulls once in a while

I'd at least wait until the 1200-mile "break-in" mileage is passed before driving it too agressively, particularly high rpm/WOT runs. That's recommended whether or not you have any sort of tune.

That is what I was thinking. I can pop it in there and just follow the keep doing what I have been doing.

I have always went with the alternate breakin method of redline a few times and let the engine climb back down in RPM then drive normal. That is what I did with this one and will now just drive normal. I rarely go redline anyway.

Anyone else have a thought??

I personally waited till 1000 miles but its all personal opinion. I'd say if you're leasing it, go for it. If you're a buyer and you plan to keep long term, play it safe.
