N55 + MPPK = Same Engine in M135i ?

I would like to know whether the MPPK addition to the standard N55 makes the engine equivalent to that which is in the M135i? The stated output figures are the same, but I'm curious whether they are, in fact, equivalent or not in terms of internal mechanical components and programming.

Thanks.

I think the m135 has additional tq with overboost like the 335is

Edit
http://s3.bimmerfile.com.s3.amazonaw...135i_specs.pdf

It mentions overboost but it does not appear there are any differences with the N55+PPK

If you're talking about the 1M Coupe, no - it's got more power (N54 engine). The MPPK makes the F30's N55 the same as the engine in the 640i Gran Coupe and the 135is.

I am pretty sure the hatchback that is currently being sold in Europe as the M135i coupe has the N55 engine and it is pretty close in tune to the MPPK. At least thats my take on what I have been reading.

The previous varient had the N54.

I am talking about the F20 M135i. The motor is apparently a N55B30 - what's the "B30" give you that the MPPK does not, if you catch my drift?

I'm almost 100% sure it's the exact same engine and software. Same output, same engine. Very potent motor.
