shark fin same on the E92 M3 and E92 335i?

Does anyone know if they are exactly the same shape and size?

I would guess they are, based on the photos I've seen. Of course the M3 fin is carbon fiber to match the roof.

I think I know where you're going with this... and we've all probably thought of getting that CF shark fin as an easy mod!!

I may be wrong but not all M3's come with CF fins? The only picture that I found with CF fins was the concept car.

Nope, they all do. Unless it's a non US car with the fin delete option.

what color will the shark fin be if you buy a white m3?

should be the same thing every auto comapany has a patent on there fin design to exact specs.. size is a differernt story or the curve of the hood

that was the pic I was looking for because I was quite certain they were painted black on most of the pics I have seen. only the concept one was full cf which matched the roof perfectly.

I saw a blue color m3 with blue painted fins but maybe most of them paint it black to match the roof

I agree.. I really thought it would be CF but when I saw it live yesterday I was so dissapointed!!!

Too bad it not CF on the cars with CF roof. If you have the sunroof, then you dont get the CF roof.
