New to Bay Area (Mountain View) - Good Car wash?
I just moved to Mountain View from Michigan and had a few questions.
Are there any do it yourself Car washes around the area? Anyone know of a good place to get the car detailed? Do you guys have any events for 3er Drivers?- Itd be great to meet some of you. Thanks for your help |

Sorry for being away, but I have been busy moving in and buying the random stuff I need for the apartment. I actually went to Napa Valley yesterday, which was a blast. I live close to el camino and San antonio. Next meet, I will be sure to be there. Also any idea on the car washes?

Welcome! I'm from Mountain View also..There is a do it yourself car wash right in front of Safeway on Shoreline Blvd. & Montecito Ave. My brother washes his car there all the time. As for detailing places, I've taken my car to Details Plus (www.detailplussunnyvale.com) in Sunnyvale a few times and they did a good job taking out hard water spots, swirls and bird poo etchings. I believe they also have do it yourself car wash on site. AJ's Auto Detailing (www.ajautodetailing.com) in San Jose is also very good. A friend of mine hit a piece of white wood that fell from a truck in front of him on the freeway and left scratches and white paint on his bumper. Took them 4 hours from the time we dropped of the car but it looked liked it was new again when we picked up, scratches and paint were completely gone.
Hope this helps a bit. |
