Question, are we getting an update to the new version or it needs the new hardware?

Needs the new hardware.

Now, there are some (raises hand) that think that some of the goodies will trickle down as they are either money-makers for BMW or simply are refined/pretty UI tweaks that require no additional horsepower.

We shall see.
