Question Car shuddered for a few minutes after DP install.

Hello guys, I just finally installed my downpipes for my 335i I'm currently running JB4 G4 and stock Intake (I have BMS but to hot right now for that) anyway I picked up my car and let it warm up to about 230-240 and did a few pulls on the highway to get the feel for it, I had it on map 5 and right before I hit the highway I switched to map 2, and I got up to about 120 and my check engine light came on, so I took the first exit and when I was accelerating my car was shuddering and felt like power was being lost or somethkng, so I switched right back to map 5 continued driving (car was shuddering only when I pushed the gas) and few more hundred feet the light turned off and it drove normal again. Now I'm freaked out any ideas what it could be? It's a 2007 sedan with 73,000 miles. Spark plugs/coilpacks have NEVER been replaced, I just ordered spark plugs from burger tuning that are taking forever to come in. Please give me any inputs on what it could be thanks.

You should have pulled the code. That would have been better than trying to guess after.

Check for leaks. Did you replace the gaskets when you installed the DP? Ive always had problems reusing them.
Did you torque the nuts correctly? Ive also lost nuts due to them spinning off.

I had them installed at my Indy and I purchased AR bomb proof gaskets, also the light came on again last night, I was driving somewhere and I didn't hammer on the car at all drove fine, then on my way home I got my rpms up a little and the light came on again, but the car was driving fine no shuddering at all, I tried turning the car on and off still is on.

Could be a misfire.. this exactly what happened to me when I first got the JB4.. one of the coils couldn't handle the JB4.. And change those plugs at least.. it only takes 25min or so

You NEED coils. Tuned bmw's go through them more often than non tuned cars.

I hope that's what it is, I pulled the codes on the jb4 today and there was 14 codes, I'm still learning its kind of complicated, I emailed terry and he's been helpful. I'm going to hook it up via laptop tomorrow and delete the codes and see if it turns on again. Thanks

From what ive experienced and seen the protocol is plugs, coils, and hpfp. My major misfire woes were from changing coils one at a time. When I finally broke down and replaced all 6 my car was 100000% better.
