How much is that running now a days? Did you wear contacts before? What was you prescription strength?
Glad to hear you 20/20 again!! Congrats!

dry eyes is the most common side effect. many times a little regression may occur after about 5 years, but you can get a touch up. i had mine done in 2007 and i'm about -0.50 D now. still happy though!

I had it done 8 years ago.
one of my eyes is now starting to go go bad again.. but so far only .5 bad.. it was during my PPL medical exam. So they didn't give me a proper "what's wrong with you". I passed the medical, my eyes are good enough to fly with, so I'm happy. will go see an eye doctor soon enough.

I went for a sonsult and was told they could do one eye for near and one eye for far. Anyone else had something like this done? Any depth perception issues after? Did one eye regress?
Thanks |

Got it last year, changed my life.. Would recommend to anyone thinking about doing it. It takes longer to fill out the paperwork then it does the actual procedure. Amazing techology

I've always thought about it, but I'm -11.0 in each eye. If I can't get to 20/20, then I don't think I'd bother. I can't find sufficient info online to confirm whether my eyesight is too far gone. Thoughts

hahahaha
it is such a quick procedure from walking in to walking out (and this was 8years ago) it took 15 mins and that's because I gave the nurse a hard time for the final examination. You run no risk.

A friend of mine's LASIK got botched and now has to wear several different pairs of glasses for different activities.
It'd be nice not to have glasses ... and I know complications are very, very rare ... but I'm fine with glasses and will probably stick with them, lol. |
