Question about H &R springs

I want to lower my car around 30mm.

I was looking on the mstyle.co.uk web site and it says

H&R lowering springs, all 6 cyl diesel

Ref:*F03HR349DESCRIPTION:H&R lowering springs set. Lowers 30mm all round. Made in Germany to the highest quality. Progressive spring rating to offer optimum handling and comfort for lowering springs together with reducing body roll. Lowering measurements quoted are for standard suspension unless stated. M sport models are lowered approx 10mm less

So does this mean they would lower the car 40mm or because my m sport is already 10mm lower than standard the springs would only reduce it a futher 20mm?

what do you guys think?

Yep, the full lowering of 40mm is for base cars, the MSports are already 10mm lower, so that would leave you more like 30mm. It's not an exact science to go by the numbers. I have a review of the H&Rs and pics in the Suspension section of the forum.

Thanks jamesons, went and ready your thread. Do you have any resent good pictures of your car. The one of your car clean and lower view isn't good quality. Do you still feel the same about springs or wish you had got supper sports h&r? What cap do you think the car has actually dropped after settling?

No, SS is too low, everyone who has seen the car this way says the Sports are PERFECT. It's personal taste though.

Jamesons, that pictures are great. Looks like its sitting at the height it should have came from the factory.

I think my plan of attack this week is to order.

H&R sport spring
Black kidney grills
M performance diffuser for 335i
Custom exhaust to suit 335i diffuser
Black M performance boot spoiler

Thinking about colour coding diffuser at the sides and painting centre piece with the fins gloss black same to boot spoiler and kidney grills.

Those rims are incredible, do you have any threads about your fitment, delivery time, finish etc? Your stance is also great!
