If it's discovery cove in orlando you don't really "swim" with them. They basically make you stand in one spot and the dolphins swim by you. You do get to kiss, hug and hang on to the dorsal fin for about 15 ft.

Am I the only one who finds the whole swimming with dolphins rather creepy? I'm not very eager to get in the water with a 12' 500lb animal that can swim circles around me.

I've swam with dolphins twice and I enjoyed it (once in the Bahamas and another time in Mexico). They're really intelligent animals and I am not afraid of them in the slightest.

Yeah it was discovery cove. I also did the seaventure where they put a helmet on your head with oxygen coming from the top and you get to walk like 30ft under water. Pretty bad ass I must say

Did the same thing at discovery cove a long time ago back when I was 5 I think. Back then they let you hold onto the dolphins and they would pull you around. Not sure if they still do that now.
