I had a 2010 E90 LCI that I increased the chirp volume thru coding in the DWAS module under BUZZER_HIGH_LEVEL. I just ordered a cable for the F30 so I'll be seeing if I can do this on my F30. I'd like my chirp a little louder.

The chirp volume is wayyyy too low for outdoor environments. I am also starting to experience (intermittently) the alarm delaying sounding the chirp by a few seconds. http://www.f30post.com/forums/showth...ighlight=chirp

Try : FZD > ALARM TYPE > US It has different sound than ECC and more loud. I did change : buzzer_high_level > 10 buzzer_low_level > 7 Worked for me. But if just change buzzer level in ECC, nothing will change. |

Did it work? I thought this was a lost cause. Dealer stated that volume could not be changed and that it is "normal." BS! Actually, lately it has seem totally muted intermittently.

sorry to bump an old ass thread but wondering if this is actually possible on the F30s. the post above said it worked but I can't seem to find anything in the sections mentioned
EDIT: the buzzer_high and _low_level coding worked for me |

In my case, FINALLY the dealer detected a short and then fixed it. Alarm chirp volume now it useable. (They did not mention adjusting the programming, though.)

Def recommend but been looking thru both cafd files n I’m certain there has to b a way to make motion sensors more sensitive. I see folders for x n y axis but I’m not confident enough to go changing things I kno nothing about lol
