Must Do Mods
Interested to know members thoughts on must do mods or your fav for your exxxx
For me so far, White Angle eyes lovely mod Black Kidney grills look great imo Performance Exhaust has so far been my fav Made a heap of difference... I love my PE Intercooler 2nd fav mod so far, has smoothed out my car so much, combined with COBB IC Drive map, car feels great so smooth and the throttle is a lot more sensitive. Gear changes feel a lot smoother. COBB/ Tune a little hit and miss for me... loved the bump but felt the car was off beat, uninstalled it as it was pissing me off... never tried others only commenting on COBB. Now I have the IC and running 402 maps liking the Cobb again.. LCI tail lights big improvment, equal 3rd fav Mod.... Interior Wrap black CF... 3rd fav mod love how it has turned out... I was never a fan of the wood grain. Pedal Box, lots of fun, but makes me drive like a dick. Rear mtec bar love it but till I get the front done feels a little out of place Future plans Painting wheels satin black Performance steering wheel Front Mtec bar with mtec air ducts Chime in on your thoughts Last edited by BMJ; 06-08-2013 at 02:04 AM.. |

I would get the newer version led tail light
A proper paddles shift And just want to ask something about performance mod, what are the basic mod for the 325i or 335i in term of performance? Such as CAI with carbon fibre duct? I have no idea about mod but I am after some simple mod for the car to bring the car more responsive or maybe better (such as any mod for a better air intake, better oil filter, thinking if that will help mitigating the engine workload?) Anything that help maintain the performance of the car, not necessarily significantly increase horsepower, will be of my interest. |

I believe it is one of the plug in ECU tunes you can buy.
Also are the stock exhaust very restrictive from factory? This is my 1st BMW (Euro Car), so I'm not very familar with them, but with my old R33 it had a pea-size stock exhuast & replacing that with an aftermarket 3" TBE gave noticable increase in power & response. |
