4 series: looks great, why so negative?

I think the F32 is really looking good, I do like the newer looks of the F30/32. It is the other options like numb steering, no new suspension for x-drive and start-stop, less sporty drive, that are glaring mistakes, but the looks of the F32 are great. Anyone waiting on the M4 should be pleased.

This does NOT look good sir.

P.S. Full disclosure: I need to see M-sport live to be persuaded otherwise.

The BMW community is much like a Hipster community where many of the community either takes the new is best or anything new is garbage.

I agree. Those fog light openings ruin it for me.

M-Sport, as with F30, is the only way to go.

that looks 100x better than the stock f30 bumper, imo it doesnt look much wise than the m-sport.

bar details, the shape is similar to the concept..

i think people are upset because its made their e92 or f30 look dull im comparison.

The f30 can't really look dull compared to the f32. They look extremely similar and are both just as striking in proper form. . Even people who aren't into cars at all will notice that. Nice try though. The msport f30 is gorgeous. Anyone who doesn't see that is out of their mind. The f32 is amazing as well.

Because the concept looked so good, and the new '4'-er name, came up against BMW profit-mindedness which resulted in a dissapointing 2-door f30.
The e92 less heralded made a bigger impression with its totally different rear with led lights.
The f32 rear looks totally cheap in comparison.

Trust me, as one of the few people have witnessed the new 4 series at BMW NA,
Even though the M-Sport's bumpers where in camo, it really looked awesome, i could make out the lines and such which they seemed sharp and much more functional.

doesn't seems to be right,,, something wrong over there... the M-sport will be certainly the best way to go...

My wife and I took a pass on the S4 with torque vectoring rear diff because we thought it was less sporty than the RWD 335.

Just goes to show how subjective these things can be eh?

My biggest concern with the F32 is that the driver side bumper is blocked off in the pic of the M sport car, which suggests there is no auxiliary radiator.

Most of the enthusiasts on this forum plan what their next car is going to be.
I traded my e92 for f30 to float me (warranty expired @ 50k) until f32 comes out.
So I had high hopes for f32. Now, I'm a bit disappointed . That's all.
No one is jealous here. We all wanted f32 to look like the concept car.

I think someone owning an S4 talking about Numb Steering and Sporty to be a laugh. That car is the definition of numb, no sports appeal, and lack of driving involvement.

+1

Audi steering is any driver's nightmare. Artificial, light, numb. And let's not mention torque steering. Besides this, Audis are excellent cars.
