Anyone know if this would work on a F30?

Since the battery and fuel door lock are located in the trunk it would seem logical that you could get all the connections you need to make this solution work right in the trunk.

What do you think?

Why did they take this feature away? I hate that there isn't a confirmatory beep when locking and unlocking the F30

There is, but I believe it's only when you have the anti-theft alarm system. My E90 328i didn't have the alarm nor did I have the option of setting the beep - I could only flash the blinkers. My F30 335i (with alarm) flashes the blinkers and beeps.

Must be the case, mine beeps and I have the alarm.
