NOVA: Suggestions for self car wash location

I just picked up my e90 last week and it's slowly starting to pick up dust/pollen, not to mention all the brake dust and bird droppings.

I'm in between places now and currently don't have a driveway to wash my car. Needless to say, I want that fresh, straight off the dealer look again!! Anybody know of a good place in the DC metro area that I can wash my car?

Thanks guys!

I'd rather wash your car by hand in a ballerina outfit, than see another beautiful e9x car with swirl marks from the local car wash...

And in case that scares people...there's a good self wash place in Sterling...

No worries, thanks for the Sterling hit...I'll do a search for a self service car wash in that area. I have all my washing materials, so I don't think I'll have to worry about swirl marks.

Thanks...

PM DC metro resident detail guru Shimshimhada for a hand car wash ($35)

A lot of us get our zaino detailing done by him but he also does maintenance washes. I can't stop recommending his services...

If you are closer to the Tysons/Fairfax area, there is a place in front of Ihop that you can wash it your self-wash for 5 mins for 3 bucks, it takes me two rounds so ($6); just bring your own rag so you dont use theirs.

If you take any drive thru washing place they will kill your rims.

+1

Unfortunately I learnt that the hard way moving to aftermarket wheels It doesn't matter what they claim (i.e. plastic coated rails etc etc), curbing will occur.

I will pay you to wash my car in a ballerina outfit. Do I have to supply the tutu?

Just PM him... If you're thinking of doing the zaino package you better get a hold of him quick, he's getting booked up full ahead of the big meet

Argh. I need to book a spot or it will be me doing the zaino.
I might have to take that friday off for car clean up since the festivities will
start on saturday.
