Winners window tint in Rockville, MD?

I already ....no results.

So, Does anybody know about winners window tinting in Rockville? Is it an ok place? They said they carry "Sun-Gard Performance Slate" film.... is it a good film?

If this place doesnt seem good, are there any other good places in the bethesda/rockville area? Thanks

Driven Dynamics in Rockville did a good job on my E90 with 3M Color stable. Had to get some of the windows replaced and they turned out great. It seems like they are gaining experience and it shows. So, at this point, I would recommend them.

Depends on how much you want to spend. Driven Dynamics, from what I've heard is good.

Sounds Great... I will give them a call. I am looking to keep it under $300....is that realistic?

I know they raised their prices a little. Find the Tint thread in this forum (midatlantic), Collin, one of the owners, posted the new prices. I paid $190 for a special. If you go there, I suggest first thing in the morning, during the week. They didn't seem as overwhelmed and did a great job...Let us know how it turns out...

Hey Scott, nothing too much man, just working and the usual. I've been browsing around keeping up with the boards and trying to follow the new 08 models coming out. Not much else excitment wise BUT I'm most likely heading over to LV at the end of the month for SEMA show.

The show's just an excuse to go there though.

I think I read you went recently, yeah?

I had 2 of our benz tinted at Winners Windows Tint. I would say the job is okay. However, their so called "scratched free" tints have lots of scratches by now. I guess it has something to do with the car. In terms of price, they are below 200, something you can't beat. Seriously, you pay what you get. I have F1 ceramic now and couldn't be happier.

---Driven Dynamics, I believe you guys do clear bra. How much would a typical car run and what's the brand of the bra you guys use? Lamin-x/3M/ventureshield, etc?

Thanks,

Jon

Hey Jon,

The typical full deluxe clearbra kit (hood, bumper, side fenders, & side mirrors) usually run around $599 regularly for the 3-series. For the forum guys we've been offering it at around $499. It's a total of 9 pieces and on average takes a half to full day to install (definitely a drop off job.) We are an authorized 3M dealer so we usually stick with 3M. On occasion we will use Clearshield if requested.

I haven't actually been advertising this service on E90 since I saw another vendor covering that market. However, if there's interest from the community I can provide some more info and organize a group rate.

Drop in a line anytime if you have any more questions.

Thanks!
Collin

I don't even have a bimmer but just had to register so I can reply to this post. DO NOT go to Winners in Rockville, MD. They used to do a good job in the past but craftmanship has been going downhill lately. Probably because owner is rarely there and he's got unskilled employees doing the work. Took my brand new benz for clear bra and my paint got nicked. I wanted the area above the rear wheels done so they couldn't use precut film and had to custom cut it (that's where paint got nicked). You can see the crappy jagged cutting done above the wheel and its starting to come undone along the edges with black dirt stuck underneath (my car is white). Also got my front windshield tinted. Cut is all crooked along the top edge.

If you are going to spend that much...I would suggest LA Tint in Sterling VA. Better than Driven Dynamics for sure...

Don't go to Winners. I don't have experience with them but my roommate got his B6 Audi S4 done by them like 2 months ago and he hates the job they did.

Wow. Well I did get my car done with winners window tint, along with my parents' car and my roommates. They did a good job with my car. Only thing I dislike is the dot matrix but I haven't seen anyone with perfect dot matrix.
