I recently purchased a 2010 e92 335i in Montego Blue with Coral Red interior. Had less than 18k when purchased.
I hadn't planned on buying a car so fast but when I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. Had everything that I was looking for nav, logic 7, sports pkg and MT. I plan on adding satellite this week when I get a chance to drop it off at the dealer. Also I'm planning on adding black kidney grills to it. Here a few pictures that I took of it after I recently washed it. When it ever decides not to rain every day here I will post more pictures. |

Blue on red is a rare color combo. You could always use it as a promo vehicle for Man of Steel!

BTW, why would you think that two primary colors wouldn't work together? FWIW, get a color wheel and check out the colors. The three primary colors can always be made to work together in any combination. The colors across from each primary are that primary color's complement, so that will also always look striking and it won't be obvious initially why. Also, any two secondary colors will look good together. The one combo you may think won't work is red and orange. I'm not sure if that thing about red and orange is due to our eyes being less sensitive to that end of the spectrum, but I suspect that's why; our eyes just aren't as keen to the differences between them. At any rate, as long as the hue and intensity are in the correct proportions, any two colors can look good together. In the case or reds and oranges, though, one needs to have contrasting hues and intensities rather than matching ones, as well as huge variances in the abundance of the two colors in the same subject for the combo to work. There could be other colors that work that way, but red and orange are the two that come readily to mind.

I think I might have the modding bug already. A week after I had it, I started ordering new parts for it already. Granted, these parts are small mods, but no I want EVERYTHING! I have recently changed out my courtesy lights, license plate lights, and trunk light.
Today, I just installed black kidney grills and black lower grills. I'm really happy with the results of the new look. Before: Black kidney grills: (sorry for poor quality) Black lower grills: Last edited by e92_rugger; 07-12-2013 at 06:22 PM.. |

You know... I've always loved montego blue. I've also always loved coral red interiors... but I never saw them together on the same car. For some reason, I always just thought it would look awful. I was wrong!
Your car looks like mine the day I got it (except I have saddle interior) |
