Phone book problems

When I picked up my 2013 328I last year, the valet took my phone and set up the hands free and downloaded my phone book into the car phone book. Everything was fine, at first. Now steadily, many of the entries have multiplied themselves so that some of the entries are in the phone book over 100 times!
How do I prevent this from happening and how do I correct this?

Have you tried to deleting your phone from the Bluetooth and then pairing it again?
