Screen brightness issue in heat

Is anyone else having issues with their Nav screen not adjusting brightness correctly after being in the high heat all day? Mine is not adjusting and is too dim to see correctly. It's barely legible with the brightness fully up. It's not an issue when the car is cooler.

Yes, this has happened to me multiple times. I have to wait several minutes for it to return to normal brightness. I am hoping an SIB/TB comes up soon to avoid hassle explaining/proving it to dealer.

Twice in the past month, when I've started the car in cool weather, the screen was dim. The sun was bright on the screen, and it made me wonder for a minute if it was always that dim in bright sunlight. I tried increasing the brightness to maximum and it still didn't look right.

Both times when I started the car again (after being parked for a short while) it was back to normal.

Just as a reference, I live in Phoenix and have not experienced this issue. Even when leaving my car out in 110+ degree weather. Sounds like it might be a hit and miss issue.

Can't say I've noticed this, I think we are due those temperatures in the UK in 2015 or 16. However the car doesn't let water in and that's been tested very well :-)

May depend on your build; when was the prod. date?
