UK Orders..?

Hi Anyone placed their UK order yet. I popped into local dealers and they would take your order but an exact build slot not yet available apparantly.

He had some reasonable info but no brochures yet of course, I was allowed to take away aninternal product marketing print out, some highlights/info:-

- Official UK Launch 16/11/13
- Dealer launch cars ordered in uk are 3.0D SE and 3.0D MSport

-Standard Equioment Carried Over from E70

Part Elec Seats

- New Stanard UK spec:-

iDrive Touch
40:20:40 seat split standard

-Now the real new info to me, some further pricing:-
- £2,760 Design Pure Experience Package Exterior only I think (the one that looks like and X Line called Design Pure in the UK, seen on the brown car launch pics, running boards underbody, 2 tone alloys etc)
- £2,995 Dynamic Pack (for SE Sport Auto/19 wheelsSport Wheel/Full Elec Seats Front/Sports Seats/High Gloss/Anthracite Headline/Alu Running Boards)
- £2,160 Design Pure Excellence (chrome highlights and other stuff I didn't like much!, not for me that one)
- £4,700 M Sport with all the goodies you usually get of course plus Adaptive M Sport Suspension including DVC and self levelling Rear air suspension

Some other prices I got:-
- £530 for surround view if I read it correctly, seems great value
- 3rd row seating £1410 but reduced to £990 on MSports
- £540 Adaptive lights
- £995 Head Up Display
- £3,345 B&O sound system ouch!
- £1,495-3,995 Adaptive suspension options

- Service Inclusive £475 (M50D £1,000)
- Service inclusive Plus £1580 (M50d £2,270)

There's a little more and I could have scanned the print out but not really wanting to get my dealer into hot water

Personally I was quite keen on a RRSport SE but I'm goign to get a lot more everything for my £ on a decent spec X5 now and the looks are growing on me by the day.

So anyone else with UK info or dealer order dates etc etc, sorry for long post!!

Chris

Hi Chris,

I am on the verge of ordering with BMW UK but for LHD tax free X5 model. The full UK price list is in the hands of BMW dealers for sure, I have seen it....

The only problem is the estimated delivery date, late march if ordered now.

I don't know if it is specific for tax free models or the normal delivery time ?

Sounds quite extreme Jose, perhaps it's a combination of LHD..and is it a 40d or 25d engine? They're not building until December as you probably know, others start August

This estimated date is for a 30d M do that is why I think it is specific to LHD tax free models. When you get a delivery date from your local dealer, please let me know.

Have you guys managed to secure any discount on list prices. I'm thinking of ordering a new 30d msport?

HI Dom, not yet, not certain if full order can be spec'd, my dealer was not aware of the finance APR offer they could extend for the X5 yet. Going in next week again. 3.0D seems a very good choice having said that the 2.5D is not far off the original spec of my 58 plate 3.0D for performance.

Nice decisions to have though......this car is really growing on me now

I placed mine over a week or so ago, for a 3.0D M-Sport, and it's been given a build slot with an estimated delivery to the dealer middle of November.

Obviously that could change as it is just scheduled for production at the minute

Thanks for the info guys. If the 40d was available at launch I think I'd go for that one, that said the stats on the 30d look good as does the fuel consumption. My wife currently has the current shape 4.8litre V8 and it only gets about 16-17mpg so north of 40 is the stuff of dreams!!
