Alignment question after KW Install

I recently installed KW v1s.
While the car still tracks straight, I'm leaning toward getting an alignment done.

Should I have the shop just put it at manufacturer specs, or does it need different specs now?

If different, how do I find out what I need?

Thanks.

You should definitely get it aligned. If you lowered the car at all your alignment is currently out of whack and you'll get extreme tire wear.

As MrRager says you can just request it to be aligned to manufacturer specs and they'll be able to pull the correct range of settings. I find BMWs toe settings are a little agressive, causing wear on the inside edge of the tire (especially in the rear) so you might ask them to aim on the low side there.

You should definitely wait 500 miles before you get an alignment unless you want to pay for one twice. The springs will settle quite a bit over the first 500 miles and change your alignment. I'd suggest having the alignment pins in the strut top mounts removed and try to get -1+degree camber up front and -1.5+degrees camber in the rear.

My installer told me the same thing...wait a couple of weeks to let it settle before you get it aligned. That was almost 3 weeks ago so I'm getting mine done Monday. Mine tracks straight but I notice the rears with much more negative camber than before...I lowered it about .75" lower than my stock sport height.
