I'm looking to get a new car this winter and the i3 has piqued my interest. If you're considering the i3 too, I'm curious what your situation is (i.e. need/want a new car anyway, or the i3 itself has affected your desire for a new car). If you're looking for a new car regardless, what are you cross-shoping with the i3?

I am also considering leasing a new 328i. I used to want a Model S but decided against it for economic reasons.

Chevy Volt hands down. Half the i3 price and 200 miles more range.
