New Owner: AW 335i f30 with 20" wheels

Hey All,

Just picked up a 2012 AW 335i f30 on Thursday night (July 18th, 2013). Loving it so far. Attached a pic as well. Options it has, are sports transmission, sportline, dakota leather with red stitching, technology package, premium package, premium sound and cold weather.

So far, I'm averaging about 27.5mpg, about 70% highway and 30% city. In the first 1/4 tank, I'm showing 134 miles, that is pretty efficient if you ask me.

UPDATE: Just got some new 20" Ace Alloy Convex in Matte Black. Wheels are wrapped in Falken Azenis 453s. Sorry for the poor pics, but wanted to throw them up real quick. Wheel/tire specs are below

20x8.5, ET 35, 245/35/20

20x10, ET 40, 255/35/20

I want to thank rich at GTB and rossifumi for helping answer all the questions I had about offsets and tire specs, etc. I love the look of the car with this setup and drives way smoother than the stock 18" runflats. I am not going to lower it either, I like the way it looks and handles with the new wheels!

Thanks to Zoeb at WheelDude Garage for the Falken FK453 tires! They are smooth and very quiet!!

Post the some pics up with your new wheels when you get them.

The only meet I know of is in Sacramento on a weekday. Just a tad too far for me to drive to.

that's the best part of it... it's not!

stock sportline. reason it looks low, is cause I'm running 245/35 front and 255/35 rear. it really fills up the wheel wells and there is no rubbing whatsoever.

reason i asked is because the 245/35 is fine for the front on a 8.5 width but a 255/35 is a bit small imo for a 10. I have the exact same width/offset as you but it seems like a 275/30 or a 265/35 would have been a better size

yeah i def understand that. which is why there is a little stretch. I just didn't want to rub, but at same time wanted to keep the 35 series rear. I think a 265/35 would have rubbed though.

Agreed that the stretch is just a bit much in the rear but still-- great fitment! Do you plan on lowering at all?
