Nav I-Drive retrofit?

I took delivery of my car a month ago and now I feel the need for I-drive. I spoke to my service advisor and he said it'll be approximately $7000 to add idrive to my 335. I'm wondering if there's any other way of doing this that would save money? Maybe ordering the parts and have someone outside install it for me?

Enlighten me guys!

Thanks in advance!l

lol...7k is cheap...i'd be guessing 10k+

here's an enlightment: order everything that you will possibly use BEFORE you take delivery.

Now you're screwed...cheapest way is to sell the car and buy another one

Save yourself some money and add an aftermarket nav system.

First of all, I'm bad with directions. Second of all, I think the car's interior looks too plain without the built in i-drive. I already have an aftermarket one and it just looks weird and I have to lock it up every time i get out of the car. It's just too much of a hassle.

You are better off selling it and getting the car you will be happy with.

Not worth the money to retrofit the entire dash and upholstery.
You can buy my TomTomGo 910 instead!

Or, sell it to some Volvo dealership!
I've seen a fully stripped 2007 E90 328i with approx. 4k to 7k miles selling for $43,000!!!!!!!!
They must be smoking something good from Sweden!

This isn't the one I was thinking about, but it may give you some ideas (and/or you can contact these guys if you have questions).

GL with the project.
