weird question
I am looking for oem 220m rims for my 09 e90, but the back offset seems too low(23) I think.
Question can the hub be ground down a little to increase offset to maybe 25-30 offset? Has anyone heard of this being done? |

I know some shops that will do that if there is enough material to safely remove some.
But the OEM 220M are 9.5" et23, it really won't take that much effort to just make that fitment work.

Like said above. It can be done, but you don't need to shave anything. Also i wouldn't really suggest that, besides shaving like 2mm doesn't really do anything and it looks better with lower offset. The 19x9.5 et23 on lci is the same as 19x9.5 et15 on pre-lci.

Definitely more aggressive than I'd recommend on an LCI. I would recommend doing some fender work if you plan on fitting specs like that.
