need some advice on tires

Those of you who have had the achilles atr sport tires now for a while, can you help me with my questions?

I'm thinking to get them for my 07 328i this time as I need to get my tires replaced very soon.

1. Are the tires noisy at all now that you've had them for some time?

2. how many miles have you all been able to get on them?

3. are they good in rain?

I've got the nexen n3000 tires now which I have put on 30K miles on them. They started getting pretty noisy after about 10K miles if i can remember correctly. The achille tires are even cheaper in price than the nexens. I mainly need tires for commuting and do not track the car or anything like that. And I only drive it normal and not aggressive either. I'm hoping to get a long lasting tire again.

I am trying to decide between the following tires. which one would you all recommend me to get this time?

1. ACHILLES Atr Sport
2. FEDERAL SS-595
3. NANKANG NS-II
4. FALKEN FK-452

thanks in advance!

I'm not familiar with any of those tires. What tire size(s) are you looking at?

whats your budget? i personally would stay away from "generic" tires. i understand top tier tires can be really expensive, but there are plenty of more affordable choices out there to choose from. tires are one of the most important parts of a car, not just for performance but safety too... i dont know why anyone would want to intentionally cheap out on tires.

granted, not all generic tires will explode and cause an accident, but the chances are definitely more likely compared to a more reputable tire.

I ran achilles after the sidewalls in my runflats blew out and it was unbelievably loud for me around 10k miles on it... I had 225 45 18 and I decided to change it at 15k miles because I couldn't stand the noise. Switched to continental extreme contact dws and I love em so far!

I've only personally run Falken FK452s, and I didn't really like them in comparison to some of the other tires I've owned (Kumho Ecsta SPT, Hankook Ventus V12, Nitto NeoGen, Continental ContisportContact 5P, Pirelli PZero Rosso, etc.). They were pretty noisy, and did not last me as long as I'd have liked. I've had friends run all three of the other tires on your list though, and they don't have many complaints, but I don't know how picky they really are.

oops, i forgot to mention my tire sizes.

Front 235/35/19 19x8.5
Rear 265/30/19 19x9.5

My budget is hopefully around $700 installed. The nexens which I have now was about $550 or so installed, but that was 2 yrs ago.

I commute about 70 miles per day and drive normal and not aggressive at all. which is why I thought getting cheaper tires would be adequate if its just for commuting.

Coopers

Try these I put these on my 335I last month, and I love them. I got away from the run flats. Price was under 600.00 after a rebate.

You might want to consider the Continental DWS for your Tire size since most tires in these sizes have a wear rating below 300. The Continetals DWS wear rating is 500 about 45,000 to 50,000 miles. The Cooper Tires unfortunately don't come in the sizes you specified, however their wear rating is also 500. The down side will be the Continental's 840 priced put you over your budget of 700 installed but I'd wait several more months to save up the addition cost. Then there is the General G MAX AS-03 with a wear rating 480 approx 40,000 miles and priced about 710 shipped to you and then pay to mount and balance them.
