LCI E90: 265/35/19 on 19x10 et38 (M359)

I'm trying to run the M359 setup on my LCI E90 with the M3 tire sizes, i.e., 245/35/19 & 265/35/19.

I'm quite confident it will be fine on the stock sport suspension, even with people in the car, but wanted to run it by the forum members in case anyone had actually done this very thing.

I love the look of the stock M3 tire size on the E90 and really despised my previous 19" M359 setup with 235/35 front and 265/30 rear. Way too little tire for Los Angeles. Ended up riding on the identical wheel in 18" but it definitely lost the look effect.

Thanks for your help... looking forward to pulling the trigger soon!

359M offsets are:

Fronts: 9x19 ET31
Rears: 10x19 ET25

Very much fittable but rear will need a roll and slight trim if you lower.
Tire wise, no idea.

I'll probably need more experience/proof to base a $1300 Michelin tire purchase on that reply... no offense.

My other debate is whether to go with the high dollar PSS tires, or go softer and cheaper with the Conti DW's, which are slightly (very slightly) smaller. Third option but least favorite of the three is the Bridgestone S-04.

I'm just trying to go with a size before picking out the tires.

Well I'm running 18x9.5 ET22 with 225/40-18 tires and 18x10.5 ET20 with 245/35-18 tires, dropped with rolled fender and no rubbing on an e90 LCI. My friend is running 19x9.5 ET27 with 235/35-19 tires and 19x11 ET22 with 265/35-19 tires, dropped with no fender roll and no rubbing on an e90 pre-LCI. So I'd say your wheel and tire specs will fit just fine. As for tire brand and model, it's really up to you, I'm running Falkfen FK452 and my buddy is running Hankook Ventus v12.

Thanks- that's sort of what I was looking for. I know it's going to make for a slightly taller ride height, but all things considered its a great look in my opinion.

I ordered 245/35/19 fronts and 265/35/19 rears in Conti DW tires. I'm mostly just a commuter so the Michelin's really aren't for me. I like a quiet ride :-)

I think LCI has less clearance than pre-LCI in the rear. . May want to check that.

Yep, 8mm less. But I believe Xi's have less clearance or perhaps more from the different suspension and maybe other factors.

I remember reading it a long time ago.

This guy...

I got this setup installed today.
They rubbed like crazy. Got a fender roll and they still rub on dips at highway speed. They might need a pull, and the oil cooler vent bolt in the wheel well needs removed.

Pretty disappointed and have no way of undoing what's been done at this point.

It's easy to type an ignorant comment in 7 seconds with no worry of consequence.

Anyway. They're gonna have to rub after spending $2300 today.

So you now have E90 LCI with
19x9 et37 245/35/19 front
19x10 et38 265/35/19 rear

And you are rubbing after fender roll? You should have went with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 tyres, then it wont rub and you shouldn't need to remove that bolt.

I know it's too late now, but you should probably consider selling at least those rear tyres to someone with M3 and buy same brand rear, but 265/30/19 size. Maybe sell the front too and switch to 235/35/19. It's better solution than ruining your fenders by pulling. I'm sure there are M3 guys who want those sizes.

I asked the questions in this post for a reason... I know the other sizes would fit, but in my opinion they don't look good and ride worse. Been there done that.

My pre-LCI had OEM M3 wheels and tires and they fit with a roll. And the ride is much better. The comfort still holds true with the new setup, but the annoying rub.

Oh well. Don't trust everything some jack wagon says.

Here is one car with 245/35/19 front with 19x9 et31 and he doesn't rub at front.

Maybe, because your offset is higher 37 it rubs that bolt. You could try 5mm spacer if that helps.

As for the rear add a little bit negative camber. Don't pull your fenders.
1 degree of camber will pull the rim in 10-12mm. (<-Thanks to member #Tee for education)

I appreciate this...

Please and thank you:

What's the easiest way to dial in camber (think affordable)

I'm thinking a 5mm spacer up front along with a perch to lower the front by .5".

I guess you would have to go one of those places that do alignment and ask them to adjust.
