Today was a busy day. Didn't get to install a lot of stuff, but we measured, poked, and prodded extensively for future projects. Knocked out a few things though. Will keep the website updated.

At some poo\int, but right now we have a 330 so we are really focusing on it. I will do a baseline run on the dyno next week after we change from the break-in oil and then we will see how receptive the car is to software. I think this will be helpful on the 325. The 325 isn't just a motor that has been turned down with a dial - there are a few parts that are different that have a big effect on it.

James please post your dyno info next week, I'm really curious to see how much drivetrain loss the E90 has and how much power is at the wheels. Thanks.
Also when will u guys start producing upgrades for this car? You're one of the first US manufacturers I know that have started tuning on this car. |

325 v. 330 - The 330 will receive our attention first. The 325 we will be racing will actually have a 2.5L engine in it, unlike US models. Once our engine program is completed, we will have a lot of general data to get some parts made for all car though. Our cam manufacturer just bought a CNC cam machine, so we are not limited by blank availability - that will be good for both cars. But honestly, if you want power, you are better off spending a little more money up front on the 330.
Upgrades - we have a small selection available on the website now. We are activly pushing to get as many started as possible, a lot will come in the next couple of months and then all the big stuff this winter. Will post dyno info when we get time, but will have to be compared to manufacturer's claimed numbers - no engine dyno info on the 3L forthcoming. |
