I've done my last few cars and no problems with heat. Sorry don't have any pictures of it with wheels fitted. Could take some tomorrow and post if it helps.

Any colour other than silver or black will look ridiculous. I'd go silver - Sheepy's E92 above is the look you want.

Not great pic but here you go. I chose black as mine are quite difficult to get at when cleaning.

The real trick is giving the components a few coats of high temp lacquer after painting, it gives great depth and makes keeping them clean a doddle.

All you need is a wire brush attachment for a drill to clear the crap away, then hand brush with hammerite smooth 2 coats. End of story.

Ah but Del.... There is a whole world of difference between proper billeted-aluminium, multi-piston, gorgeous Brembo calipers like yours and the shitty cast-aluminium shit that BMW put on the lesser models. Painting those bright red etc. looks daft - why would you want to draw attention to a single-piston, sliding caliper effort? Just paint it to look neat.

If you've got nice calipers worth looking at, then any colour you like!

I did mine with a big and small wirebrush, brake dust cleaner, and spray preparation wipes. Then used high temp caliper spray paint. I took the caliper off totally, cleaned it all up. Two coats. If it lasts a year, i'll be happy.
