18mm spacers, fender roll? (Pic inside)

I got my hands on 18mm spacers from a friend, but looks like they are too thick. My friend has a fender roller that I could use, so my question is.. Will rolling my fenders allow me to use these 18mm spacers?

The spacer is sitting flush with my wheels in this pic, although it looks like it is at an angle. These are going on my rear wheels btw.

Not dropped and don't plan on dropping.
I pretty much have no clue what the wheel and tire spec numbers mean lol but I have 255/35r18 tires and 18x8.5 et40 wheels.

I can trade these 18's for either 10mm's or 15mm's, but would if rolling my fenders would work then I would like to keep these.

Sounds like you have stock 18" wheels, I had 15mm's on mine and they were ok with my bridgestone tires, but my Michelin PSS's rubbed and had to go to 12's - if 15's are that tight, you would have to find 4-5 mm more on a fender roll to get the 18's to work, I think you would be better with 15's.

On an LCI car, 15mm is likely the max on the rear with stock 18". Pre-LCI, 20-25mm will fit.

I have Pre-LCI so these should fit then? I have to roll my fenders though right?

I think those could work. On an E92, we normally recommend x9.5 ET33 rear, and your wheels would almost have the same outer position with the spacer.

Well, if you already have the spacers in hand...throw them on and see.

Will do, just a bit scared I'll damage my fender when I lower the car from my jackstands...

Is your car on jackstands in the photo? If so, when you put the car on the ground, the wheels should camber in a bit.
