What mm spacer to use for oem 19"s?
Hi can someone tell me what size of spacer I should purchase for oem 19" wheels? I just want rear spacers not the fronts. Thanks.
-They are style 225M wheels. 9" width for the rear wheels. -I don't have the BC coilover put on yet, but I am thinking just to drop the rear 1/2 to 1 inch only. -I have the bridgestone runflats on from the factory right now. (255/30 R-19). -Yes I am going to fender roll if necessary. -Car is a E92 pre-lci. Last edited by Prissy; 08-03-2013 at 01:38 PM.. |

Which wheels you have? What are the specs of the wheel? Are lowered? If so how much? What tyre size you have? Are you ready to do fender roll? Is your car E90, E91, E92, E93? Is it pre-lci or lci?

225m's are so nice. I used to have 10mm/12mm on it as well, I actually drove around with a 3mm spacer stacked in the front and didn't have any problems so I think 12mm/12mm would be perfect.

No need to be sorry. Its just easier to help if we get better info.
Once you get your coilovers installed you can try to measure the spacer size like this http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...measure_lg.jpg Something like 19x9.5 offset around 30 with 265/30 will fit without problem (some have reported slight rubbing with that size). Your wheels would need spacer like 12-15mm to extend to same point and if you do fender roll you get more clearance. You should add 10-12mm spacer to front too, it will look better.

I originally had 10/15 F/R (on my 189's), and the 10mm made the fronts stick out too much, same for the 15mm rear. So I put the 10's in the rear and bought some 5's for the front.
I didn't hear about 12mm rear until recently, and I don't know if I'll spend another $100 for 2 more mm Post some pics when you get them. I'm thinking of going coilovers soon as well, but not sure if I'll like the look with these wheels. |
