Are my rear koni yellows externally adjustable?
I thought all new rear koni yellows are externally adjustable? I bought mine about 4 months ago and I looked under the trunk liner wanting to stiffen it up and I don't see the little tab that I can insert the adjustment knob into?
All I see is a Torx T35, is that how I adjust it? By using a wrench and a T35 to turn it left and right? |

the externally adjustable models may have to be special ordered that way. There would be an adjuster post on the top of the shock if it were. What you have is the traditional compress to adjust model.

To my knowledge the only externally adjustable rear Konis for e9x are custom made by Koni for TCKline, Dinan, and others, and not sold direct by Koni. They are not cheap either, at least double the price of non external adjust models.
There are also some custom double adjustable Konis out there, as part of coil over kits. Also not cheap. |
